Shoshana Ungerleider, M.D., is an internist practicing medicine at Crossover Health in San Francisco, founder of the organization End Well, and executive producer of the Academy Award-nominated end-of-life documentaries Extremis and End Game. She spoke with Hospice News about her experiences as a physician during the COVID-19 pandemic and the lessons learned about end-of-life care during the outbreak. Dr. Ungerleider is a Hospice News Changemaker for the class of 2020.
